Runway styles with Italian flair

Milan’s hair and beauty looks were as bold and fun as its fashion.

Eyes took centre stage and were highlighted with bright coloured eyeliners, which were applied as a thick straight line or crimson cat eyes (at Max Mara). DSquared2 used multiple coats of mascara to create dramatic, open eyes.

Face off
Milan continued NYFW’s theme, with many bare faces also making their way down the runways. It was all about the natural glow – and Marni took the look a step further by having sweaty-faced models.

About the braid
The hair during the MFW was feminine and flirty with creative braiding, from colourful plaits to a braided middle parting (seen at the Giamba show).
