1 Preheat the oven to 180°C.
2 Place the cheeses on a lined baking tray. Bake for 8–10 minutes.
3 Add the sugar and water to a saucepan. Over a low heat, stir until the sugar has melted. Increase the heat and bring the mixture to a boil – don’t stir the mixture again.
4 Cook for an additional 6–8 minutes or until the sugar turns a caramel colour. Sprinkle the nuts over the baked cheeses and pour over the caramel mixture, coating the nuts.
5 To serve Serve warm with slices of soft bread.
