1 Bring 350ml water to the boil. Add 350ml couscous. Cover with a lid and then remove from the heat. Set aside to steam for five minutes.
2 Meanwhile, chop 125g streaky bacon and fry until almost crisp. Remove from the pan and set aside. Leave the fat in the pan. Add half a chopped onion and sauté until soft.
3 Add 500-750ml finely shredded Chinese cabbage or savoy cabbage. Stir-fry until tender. Add to the couscous.
4 Add the bacon and stir well. Season to taste.
