Shopping list

• enough compost
• 5:1:5 or 2:3:2 granular fertiliser
• superphosphate
• weed killer (optional)
• grass seeds (1kg per 25m2)

Equipment

• garden fork
• garden spade
• rake
• tape measure, pegs and string (or four 1m measuring sticks)
