Shift dresses are e a little bit retro and a whole lot understated, and wonderfully versatile with the right accessories, so they make fantastic desk-to-date outfits.

They aren’t a bit boring this season, thanks to the strong focus on pattern and print. To make things even more interesting, the dress itself is feminine enough so your accessories can be a little edgy. Try an ankle boot, for example.
