To finish Fold the mouse right sides together and sew up from the front of the face to the back, leaving an opening for turning.
Body Turn through to the right side and stuff. Sew the opening closed. This is the shape of the mouse once stuffed and sewn.
Ears Cast on 8 stitches and knit 3 rows. Break the wool and thread onto a sewing needle. Slip the stitches onto the needle. Pull tight and sew to secure. Sew the ears to the body.
Tail Thread three strands of wool, each approximately 20cm long, through the needle. Pull the strands through the back of the mouse until you have reached the middle of the strands. Plait the strands and tie with a knot to secure. Trim the ends of the wool.
Nose and eyes Cut two black eyes and a pink nose from fleece remnants. Use a felting needle to needle felt the pieces and attach to the mouse.
