One Barber, plus one cameraman, plus five continents, in 12 months, equals The Nomad Barber, a travel blog and web series about barbers and the secrets of their craft.

Miguel Gutierrez is an award-winning barber who has worked with the best of the best at everything from fashion shows to the biggest barber shop in Europe. He was curious about the techniques and history in other parts of the world, so with a cameraman, a cutting kit and a tiny travel budget, he set off to discover the world through the eyes of barbers.

It’s become an amazing social project that’s teaching people about life and culture in other parts of the world. At every location he finds the best barbers, cuts hair with them, sometimes gets them to cut his hair – and cuts the locals’ hair in the most beautiful natural surroundings, recording everything along the way.
