    Seaside indulgence: Bantry Bay

    2 July 2014

Waking up to the sound of the ocean has always been one of my favourite things, and at the Three Cities Bantry Bay Suite Hotel this is just one of the simple pleasures you are able to indulge in.

After spending a night in one of the penthouse suites on the fifth floor, which overlooks picturesque Bantry Bay one side and the majestic Lion’s Head on the other, you have new appreciation for the Atlantic Seaboard and all its natural beauty. The hotel and its location makes for a great balance between business and pleasure. All amenities suit both the business traveller as well as those simply wanting some RnR. For the business traveller that doesn’t want to be in the hustle and bustle of the city, it’s ideal. It’s close to the CBD and the Waterfront. While the leisure traveller will undoubtedly be mesmerized by the surroundings and numerous play options.

You’ll be able to take a sunrise or sunset jog along the Sea Point Promenade or try some of the best restaurants in the area, all within walking distance. In addition, the hotel, through its concierge service, is able to arrange day tours to some of the Mother City’s major attractions including the Winelands, Cape Point, Robben Island and Table Mountain.

Choose from a range of accommodation types, from studio suites to luxury penthouses. the rooms are all spacious and equipped to offer you a comfortable stay including self-catering facilities. If you don’t feel like whipping up something to eat yourself, order in from Freddies (at the hotel). Even though the menu is limited I suggest the chicken burger or the cheese platter; it’s perfectly prepared and presented.

Don’t forget to sign up for your Three Cities Exceptional rewards card, which gives you access to various discounts including up to 25% off your food bill and opportunities to have your accommodation upgraded. Please note that terms and conditions apply.
