The Empty Shop!

Sandton City and McCann Johannesburg are excited to introduce a new concept – a store like no other. The Empty Shop is a global charity initiative that encourages customers to bring clothes to the shop instead of taking them away.

The Empty Shop will be in the Checkers Court at Sandton City until November 16.

Here is how it works:

1. Donate any item of clothing.
2. Take it to the Empty Shop and hand it over to the shop assistant.
3. The shop will be filled with donated clothes and mannequins will be styled with the clothes.
4. Each night the shop will be emptied.
5. Your clothes will be donated to Hospice Wits at the end of the campaign.

All items of clothing will be welcome, from simple dresses and casual jeans to designer suits. Babies’ and children’s clothing will also be appreciated.
