It's National Milk Tart Day next week, so it's time to do some shopping for Granny's famous recipe

Next Friday, 27 February, celebrate a cultural treasure, along with the rest of the country, by eating a slice of milk tart… because it will be National Milk Tart Day.

Besides being a day when you can enjoy a slice or two of milk tart, it is also a day where South Africans can celebrate the experiences that connect us. When wasn’t there milk tart on the table for a celebration – your cousin’s birthday party or Sunday tea time?

So, have a milk tart party with your friends or share a milk tart with your colleagues during lunch – or bake a batch for you neighbours.
