Since we are already well into spring, we thought it was about time we look to the future of summer and, more specifically, the must-know colours of the new season. Here at Dailyfix, we have summarised all the trend forecasting into three main colours trends for you, making home decorating that much easier.

1. Greek Blue
Greece is not just a hot trend for travel this year, but the Mediterranean Blue of Santorini and Mykonos is a major trend for the new season. Pair this colour choice with white and even pops of yellow and your home will immediately look redone.

2. Pastels
We have already shouted pastels from the rooftops but we will say it again (and again). These soft, sorbet colours bring a sense of calm into one’s home without abandoning colour completely. Think pretty blues, pinks, yellows and greens and if in doubt throw in a neutral grey to ground them all.

3. Olive Green
‘What?’ you may gasp at the thought of an olive green wall, reminiscent of the ’70s, but trust us, this colour will be everywhere come 2015. This warm colour looks organic and in the right room – paired with luxurious fabrics – can have an extremely elegant effect.
