• Remove faded flowers and water summer flowering annuals regularly.
• Sow sweet peas at the end of the month in all areas of the country. Give the soil a light sprinkling of lime and rake this into the top layer of the soil approximately one week before sowing the seeds.
• Feed roses and fruit trees with 2:3:2 fertiliser.
• Prune your geraniums.
