For fast relief, skip the warm bath and reach for something cold, says New York City sports podiatrist Lori Weisensfeld. ‘Your feet are most likely inflamed, and ice is more effective than heat for taking down swelling.’
Grab a bag of frozen peas or a chilled can and hold it where it hurts for 10 to 20 minutes.
