Make a fortune cookie out of paper.
Cut a circle out of scrapbooking paper, then fold it in half without flattening the fold. Hold the folded circle between your thumb and forefinger, then place your other forefinger in the middle of the fold and press it inwards to form the fold that gives a fortune cookie its universally recognised shape. Press the two ends that form at the top and bottom towards each other. Add a short strip of double-sided tape in the centre of the fold, to ensure the fortune cookie holds its shape. Affix a strip with the person’s name to the inside of the fortune cookie and add it to the gift.
