We used 32 bulbs to make our wreath, which has a diameter of 40cm.
You Will Need
To Make
1 Cover the screw-in tip of each light bulb with masking tape to keep it free of glue.
2 Apply a coat of spray glue to the entire surface of one glass globe. To make it easier to spray right around, turn a paper cup upside down and cut a hole in the bottom, to make a stand for the light bulb.
3 Wait for the spray glue to become tacky, then hold the light bulb over a small bowl and sprinkle with glitter. You can reuse the excess glitter that falls into the bowl. Set the light bulb aside.
4 Repeat to cover all your light bulbs with glitter. We used different colours and let them ‘flow’ into each other to create our effect.
5 Attach the light bulbs to the wire wreath using a glue gun and finish your wreath with a length of ribbon.
NOTE Handle the wreath with great care because light bulbs break easily.
