You Will Need
To Make
1 Cut a strip of lace long enough to cover both sides of one shoe from the toe to the heel. Apply glue directly to the shoe upper one section at a time. Start with the centre of the lace strip positioned across the toe section of the shoe. Gather the lace at the front, applying more glue to secure.
2 Now, carefully, cover the rest of the shoe, making sure to not leave any gaps and smoothing the lace as you work.
3 Use your scissors to neatly trim away any excess lace at the base of the shoe upper.
4 Overlap the ends of the lace at the heel section. Fold double and secure with glue.
5 Use the narrow black cord to secure the lace around the base of the shoe upper. Repeat the steps with the second shoe.
6 To make the decoration, fold a 15cm strip of velvet ribbon into a bow and secure it to the front of the shoe with glue and a diamanté clip.
