Dressing Table Door

Transform an old door into something both pretty and useful

We placed a shelf on this door using decorative brackets. We had four mirrors cut to fit inside the door panels – measure the panels precisely and have the mirrors cut 5mm smaller to allow a small amount of space. To create the ‘frames’ around the mirrors, we placed masking tape around the edges of the panels and then painted a frame with black paint. Leave the paint to dry completely before you remove the masking tape and then attach the mirrors with double-sided mirror tape.

TIP Screw in hooks at the top of the door or underneath the shelf to hang up jewellery or scarves.
