Clay Pendants

These pendants are made from air-dry clay into which interesting shapes have been pressed to leave a textured impression

This year make giving and receiving equally special by making your own gifts.

You Will Need

white polymer clay
rolling pin
rubber stamp or anything with a raised motif
small cookie cutters
sosatie sticks
leather thong

To Make
1 Round Pendant Roll a piece of clay until it is 3mm thick. Press your rubber stamp lightly onto the clay and cut the motif out with a round cookie cutter. Press a hole through the clay using a sosatie stick and place it on the bottom of a wine bottle to dry. When it is dry, remove it carefully and thread a leather thong through the hole.

2 Heart-Shaped Pendant Make as before, but use a heart-shaped cookie cutter and leave to dry flat.
