City Silhouette

Fall asleep with the city skyline just above your head

Draw a silhouette of your favourite city (or use our template) onto the wall above the bed, lightly with a pencil. Size it according to the width of your bed. Stick ordinary masking tape or the special kind for painting all around the outline of the design and on either side down to the floor. Paint the silhouette.

Ours is painted with two layers of Dulux dark grey 50BG 14/036 and the light grey wall is painted with Dulux 30GG 61/010. Allow the paint to dry before removing the masking tape.

TIP Draw the silhouette with a black marking pen onto an A4-sized sheet of acetate and use an overhead projector to project the image onto the wall if you struggle with the drawing.
