The best place for a drink: The Absolut Vodka Ice bar.

The first thing travelers should do upon reaching this destination: In winter – put on every piece of clothes you own.
In summer – prepare not to sleep. This is the land of the midnight sun!

If you want to feel like a local you should…  Learn to say hello (Hey-hey) and thank you (Tak) in Swedish. They love South Africans – especially ones that speak Afrikaans as it is so similar to Swedish.

Watch out for… Reindeer and elk – they look placid but can get spooked easily and then they charge!
