Grandma’s Favourite Upside-Down Pineapple Cake

Fruity, tasty and bound to bring back childhood memories

• 1 vanilla box cake (we used one from Woolies)
• 3 eggs
• 200ml oil
• 250ml milk
• 9 tinned pineapple rings
• 75g glacé cherries

Preheat the oven and spray nine hollows of two giant muffin pans with non-stick spray. Place a ring of pineapple at the bottom of each hollow, then chop the cherries and divide them between the hollows. Prepare the cake batter according to the directions and fill each hollow. Bake for 20 minutes then allow to cool slightly. Turn out and serve with whipped cream.
