Urban farming techniques are providing us with ways to make the most of our city space and grow our own produce in some of the most unthinkable places, like a balcony, an alley or even on the roof!
Curiosity Campus (along with permaculture expert Tarryn Rice) is conducting an introduction to urban farming on Saturday 31 May 2014. Here you’ll be equipped with every skill you might need to build your first container garden. These skills cover a wide range: from the history and basics of permaculture to the benefits of container gardening, also how and what to use as well as basic plant care. Once you’ve been fully equipped by the end of the class, everyone will plant their own container garden with all of the seeds, tools and knowledge that has been provided.
