What better way to put the fun back into fundraising than with the 5 For Change annual black tie charity gala? The annual event hosted this Saturday, 31 May 2014, aims to raise awareness about five worthy causes and offers you a chance to give back, while being entertained.

This initiative was founded in 2012 by Ross McKernan, David Deetlefs and Adriaan Dippenaar as a way for young professionals and entrepreneurs to give back to their communities. The platform raises awareness and showcases five social enterprises. This year Milkshed, IAmSomebody, Earthchild Project, Girls and Football SA and Rock Girl are featured. Guests will be able to give back through various auctions and competitions that will be run throughout the evening.

The gala event promises to be fun, guests will be regaled by host Siv Ngesi and a few local bands, including The Kiffness, will keep feet tapping. Drinks and canapés will flow throughout the evening. And all proceeds will be shared equally among the five different charities.
