Quotes
‘Miss Everdeen, it is the things we love most that destroy us.’ – President Snow
‘I never wanted any of this, I never wanted to be in the Games, I just wanted to save my sister and keep Peeta alive.’ – Katniss Everdeen
What The Critics Say
‘It may disappoint young fans who relished the sheer fantasy verve that drove the first parts, but as a thoughtful and at times moving preamble to a tough climax, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 delivers.’ – Mark Adams, ScreenDaily
‘Stylish, gripping and surprisingly thoughtful.’ – Andy Lea, Daily Star
‘Mockingjay merits the split – it perhaps even gives some balance and rhythm to a story that might’ve felt rushed were the events crammed into a single movie.’ – James Mottram, The List
