The stage is set. Emotions are running high as lives will once again start to change when Idols SA Season 11 kicks off with auditions at the end of this month.

Cape Town Grand West, Saturday, 7 February
Durban the Playhouse, Saturday, 21 February
Johannesburg Carnival City, Sunday, 1 March

To stand a chance of becoming South Africa’s next singing sensation make sure you have read all these requirements before making your way to the auditions. Contestants must be South African citizens between the ages of 16 and 30 to enter. ID documents must be presented at the auditions and underage contestants must be accompanied by their parents.

Lani Lombard, Head of Publicity at M-Net, says: ‘We believe that the new season is going to be a show-stopper as well, with surprises lined up from the word “go”. It’s exciting to think that the country’s new singing sensation will be somewhere in a long queue at the nationwide auditions.’
