Make your to-do list pop with colour.
You need:
1 Paint the hardboard and put it up in the spot you’ve chosen. If you attach it to wood (as we did) you can use a staple gun with long staples; otherwise drill holes in the wall and attach it with wall screws.
2 Use the cornice to frame your chalkboard. If it’s placed flush against a wall, you can use flat wooden skirting. Cut the 45° edges of the cornice with a mitre saw (or use a mitre box and handsaw) and join the different lengths with acrylic filler (or wood glue if you’re using wooden skirting).
3 Paint the frame and mount it around your chalkboard using the acrylic filler.
