It’s also important to note that sticking with your weight loss goal can be easier said than done. These five tips from Cotton On Body well-being expert Jessica Sepel, will help you reach your goals:
1 One Step At A Time
It’s okay to start small – you don’t need to do it all in the first week. You’ll be risking exhaustion, which would most likely lead you to lose your motivation. A more realistic approach would be focusing on one goal at a time.
2 Don’t Be A Follower
It’s important to remember that the needs of your friends and family are different from what you need. Just as, what they might enjoy may not be your cup of tea. Instead make decisions based on your body’s unique set of needs.
3 Be Positively Grateful
The practise of positive thinking can be a truly amazing tool. Positive thinking is about being thankful for what you do have and consciously going after the things you’d like to be present in your life.
4 Show Yourself Kindness
Give yourself credit for actively trying to improve your life. It’s good to show yourself some love and appreciation, and understand that things, like your yoga class, will take some time and practice.
5 Believe You Can
If you remember only one thing, remember this: You are powerful and can live the life you have always wanted – no doubts! When you think only positive thoughts, you’re proving to the universe that you are confident in your abilities and value your self-worth.
