At this year’s POLO International House Trials – where a rider and horse compete in the disciplines of dressage, cross-country and show jumping – POLO launched its Pink Pony campaign for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which took place alongside the equestrian event.
There was a spectacular POLO Pink Pony brunch with cancer survivor Eddie Rust as guest speaker sharing his inspiring story. Guests were also treated to the POLO Spring/Summer 2014 fashion show as well as a POLO pop-up store, which sold Pink Pony merchandise in aid of The Cancer Association of South Africa (CANSA). More than 200 people took part in the Pink Pony Walkathon that was held over the weekend too.
POLO will be donating a cheque to CANSA from all the Pink Pony campaign proceeds.
Keep doing your part for Breast Cancer Awareness Month – and make a difference.
