Cryptic, right? What we mean is that the dreamcatcher – the much-loved and treasured object of Noughties wanderers – is making a comeback.
These feathered webs strung with charms are traditional Native American symbols, woven to hang above one’s bed to allow good dreams through the web and entangle the nightmares.
Now they take on a new guise in the form of whimsical jewellery, as do other feathered creations. First to cop to the trend was global fashion label J Crew who created bronze necklaces reminiscent of the mystical dream-catchers.
