Silly Sale Season

These tips will have you walking away a winner at the sales this new year

If you’re lucky, you can still catch the best of the mid-season sales. All you need to remember is to dress comfortably - and a few other things:

• Remember to ask about the return policy on sale items, so you know what you’re getting into if, in the end, it doesn’t fit or truly misses your style.
• Here’s the trick to figuring out if you really like what you’re buying and it’s not just your reflex to the huge marked-down price: Ask yourself if you would have saved up for it under the original price.
• Know where to look! You’re not the only one who hides that cute summer jacket that you’re not sure about, at the back of the rack to come back to later. It’s a little cheeky but finders, keepers… as long as you keep it.
