    Menswear Fashion Week

A first for Africa! Let's hear it for the boys

    3 February 2015

All round applause for the first South African Menswear Week (SAMW). A dedicated fashion platform, which solely focusses on menswear designs and accessories. We have seen an improvement in men’s fashion not only in store merchandise but on the streets as well. Men are fast increasing their swag status.

Over 25 of South Africa and Africa’s top menswear labels will showcase during the three-day event. Ranging from emerging talent, such as Rich Mnisia and Jenevieve Lyons to the up-and-coming, like Lukhanyo Mdingi, as well as the more established designers, like Craig Port, CSquared, and Shaldon Kopman’s Naked Ape.

This will be a biannual event, with the first two shows taking place in February and July to showcase the Autumn/Winter and Spring/Summer 2015 collections.

Owner and founder of SA Menswear Week, Ryan Beswick says, ‘This worthy initiative is not only about providing and building a platform where designers can showcase their collections, but also providing a sound business case with marketing and promotion opportunities for designers to grow their brands.’

Be a part of this glitz and glamour.

    Dates 5 to 7 February 2015
    Time Shows start at 6pm
Tickets R125 per show at webtickets (limited number of tickets available at the door)
Venue V&A Waterfront Breakwater parking building
