There’s no need to look haggard and exhausted while you’re trying to enjoy your downtime. Leave behind your weekday woes and have fun, all while looking pretty. Here’s how:
Slap on an anti-fatigue cream before you go to bed – it’s your best bet to avoid sallow, hard-done-by skin. Yves Rocher, Cure Solutions, anti-fatigue cream contains red vine leaf, an ingredient that stimulates blood flow.
Dark circles, the most common and obvious sign of long days and late nights, are best dealt with using a good-quality concealer, one that has pinky/peachy tones to counteract any blue/grey hues. Dot a little concealer along your under-eye, then use a moist sponge or your (clean) ring finger to lightly blend it in. Finally, brush a little highlighting powder over the concealer to set it and keep it from creasing.
Keep a thermal water spray in your handbag and lightly spritz your face whenever you need a pick-me-up.
Treat yourself to a cleansing mask in the evening, to help rid your skin of impurities and dead skin cells. And apply a brightening mask every two weeks to prevent dullness.
