45cm wide and 36cm high

The instructions are given for one size only.

You will need
• 4 x 100g balls of Elle Pure Gold Chunky in the colour of your choice (we used Titanium shade no. 201)
• 5mm circular needle (60cm length)

Tension
20sts and 34 rows to 10cm over loop stitch using 5mm needles.

 

NOTE For best results it is essential to obtain the correct tension. If there are too few stitches on the test swatch, use thinner needles; if there are too many stitches, use thicker needles.

To make
Using circular needle, cast on 180sts.

1st round (ws): p.
2nd round: (k 1, sl1pw) to end.
Rep these 2 rnds until work measures 26cm ending with 1st round of patt. P 6 rnds.

Handles
Next rnd: p 30, cast off 30 sts, p 60, cast off 30 sts, p to end.
Next rnd: p 30, cast on 30 sts, p 60, cast on 30 sts, p to end.
P 6 more rnds then cast off all sts.

To make up
Sew cast-on edge for bottom seam, then turn inside out.
