TIP Before starting, use a pencil to mark the position on the wall where the decal will go.
First make sure that the wall or window is properly clean and dry. Work on a solid surface and rub the squeegee or bankcard over the sticker’s transparent upper layer to make sure that it is adhering properly all over the motif. It is normal for a few small air bubbles to be trapped between the layers. Even though these bubbles won’t have an effect on the end result, try to remove as many as possible.
Now carefully pull the transparent layer, complete with the sticker, from the backing paper. If it is a very large sticker, you can first do the top section and then the bottom section.
Position the sticker lightly against the wall or window and make sure it is straight and at the correct height. Ask someone to help you with this before you start rubbing.
Use your squeegee or bankcard again and rub the sticker against the wall or window to make sure that it is adhering properly all over.
Now very carefully pull off the layer of transparent adhesive plastic. Be especially careful where the sticker is thin or there is fine detail so it doesn’t tear. Rub over the sticker lightly with a soft, dry cloth to ensure it has adhered properly all over.
