    Robe Hook

Use a serene palette of tranquil greens, refreshing whites and classic silver to create a relaxing atmosphere in your salon inspired bathroom

    11 February 2015

Instead of using a stand for the robes, we used an ordinary stainless steel towel hook on the wall and turned it into a stylish focal point by adding an element from our logo in the form of a vinyl wall sticker.

    You Will Need

    • towel hook
    • self-adhesive vinyl in the colour of your choice
    • craft knife and cutting mat or scissors
    • metal ruler
    • measuring tape
    • Prestik
    • pencil

    To Make
1 Make sure the wall is clean and dry. Measure the surface, decide how big you want your sticker to be and plan your design accordingly. Draw it on a piece of paper or enlarge the section of the logo that you want to use.

2 Transfer the design with your pencil onto the back of the vinyl. You can do it freehand if it is a simple design like ours, but remember that you need to do it as a mirror image.

3 Cut out the design with your craft knife or use scissors.

4 Place small pieces of Prestik on the back of the sticker and position it loosely against the wall. Ensure that the lines are straight and level.

5 Now affix the sticker. Start pulling off the backing paper and stick the first section in place against the wall. Remove more of the layer and affix the sticker lightly as you go along, until the entire sticker is on the wall. This will be easier to do if you have someone to help you.

6 Stand back a bit and check that you are happy with the position of the sticker then take a soft, dry cloth and rub all over the sticker.
