A clever way to arrange flowers in a wide-mouthed vase

You Will Need

• suitable vase for flowers
• cut flowers
• adhesive tape
• scissors

To Make

1 Wipe the glass clean and get your flowers, adhesive tape and scissors ready.

2 Cut strips of tape and stick criss-cross over the mouth of the vase, to form a grid.

3 Half-fill the vase with water and add flower food, if you prefer.

4 Trim the stems to the right length.

Arrange the flowers one by one into the openings in the grid. The grid will keep the flowers upright and help to create an arrangement that looks full.
Complete your arrangement and make adjustments, if necessary. Leave the tape in place until you are ready to throw out the flowers.
