Handmade iPod Holder

This iPod holder is a great present for a teenager. Make it from rubber or even felt, then you won’t need to do any stitching

You Need

plastic container
A4 sheet of craft rubber
scrapbooking punch or paper punch
ballpoint pen
cable ties in the same colour as the rubber
ribbon
pretty decorative pin

To Make
1 Using your craft knife and a metal ruler, cut a piece of craft rubber that is big enough to fold around the iPod.

2 Fold the piece of craft rubber in half then mark the holes for the cable ties along the side using the ballpoint pen – make sure that the two sides are exactly aligned – and punch holes through all of the layers.

3 Keep the piece of rubber folded double and put a cable tie through each set of holes. Pull the ties tight and cut off the ends with a pair of scissors.

4 Place the iPod holder in a clear plastic container and decorate with some decorative ribbon and a pretty pin.
