You Will Need
To Make
1 Measure and mark strips 3-4cm wide on the scrapbooking paper or cardboard you want to use for the bookmarks and cut out neatly. Our strips are 18-26cm long.
2 Fold the strips double with the decorative side facing outwards and embellish the front tip with rows of ribbon or lace, attached with double-sided tape. Or you can shape the tip with a pair of zigzag or pattern scissors.
3 Cut a 1.5cm-wide strip off the magnetic sheet. Cut two strips the same length for each bookmark – they should be slightly narrower than the width of the bookmark.
4 Place the two magnets on top of each other so they attach to each other. Pull off the adhesive backing from one magnet and attach it to the inside of the bookmark, positioning it slightly in from the end.
5 Pull off the adhesive backing from the other magnet and fold the bookmark so the magnets are aligned for a neat and secure fit.
