Garden markers

This delightful homemade gift will make a practical and pretty present for a loved one with green thumbs

You will need

• herb illustrations, printed on paper and cut to size
• lace stencil cutter
• ice-cream sticks
• modge podge
• craft paintbrush

To make
1 Decorate one edge of the herb illustration with the lace stencil cutter.

2 Apply a layer of modge podge to the back and front of the ice-cream stick.

3 Attach your herb illustration to the top of the stick and apply another layer of modge podge. Leave to dry.

Packaging
Wrap gardener’s twine around the gardener’s book and add a packet of seeds, a garden tool, a pencil and the markers.
