• Elle Premier Natural Cotton DK in moss, peach and candy
• 3.5mm crochet hook
• A3 size firm cardboard
• craft knife, glue, double-sided tape
• tapestry needle, scissors, pins
• 5 pictures of your choice

NOTE For frame 2, cut a square 11 x 11cm from cardboard. For frame 4 cut a circle 11cm in diameter and for frame 5 a circle 7.5cm in diameter. For all three, draw a line 1cm in from the edge and cut out the centre.

TO CROCHET FRAME 1
Work 52 ch and join with sl st in 1st ch.

1st rnd 2 ch, *1 tr in each of next 3 ch, 2 tr in next ch*, rep to end, tr in base of 2 ch, sl st in 2nd ch at beg of 1st rnd.
2nd rnd *2 ch, sl st in next tr*, rep to end, sl st in 1st 2 ch-sp of 2nd rnd.
3rd rnd *5 ch, miss one 2 ch-sp, sl st in next 2 ch-sp*, rep to end, sl st in base of 1st 5 ch of 3rd rnd. Fasten off. Darn in all the loose ends.

TO CROCHET FRAME 2
Make a slip-knot and *work 36 dc along one side of frame 2*, rep for other 3 sides of frame, sl st in 1st dc.

1st rnd *[5 ch, sl st in 3rd ch from hook, htr in next ch, tr in next ch, miss 5 dc, sl st in next dc] 6 times, sl st in next dc*, rep from * to * 3 times more, fasten off. Darn in loose ends.

TO CROCHET FRAME 3
Work 44 ch and join with sl st in 1st ch.

1^st rnd *1 ch, 1 dc in each of next 10 ch, 3 dc in next ch*, rep from * to * 3 times more, sl st in 1st dc of 1st rnd.
2^nd rnd 1 ch ,dc in same sp, 1 dc in each of next 11 sts, 3 dc in next st,* 1 dc in each of next 12 sts, 3 dc in next st*, rep from * to * twice more, sl st in 1st dc of 2nd rnd.
3rd rnd 1 ch, dc in same sp, 1 dc in each of next 13 dc, 8 ch, sl st in 1st of 8 ch crocheted, *1 dc in each of next 15 dc, 8 ch, sl st in 1st of 8 ch crocheted*, rep from * to * twice more, dc in next dc, sl st in 1st dc of 3rd rnd. 4th rnd: Sl st loosely in each of next 12 dc, 15 dc in 8 ch-sp, *sl st loosely in each of next 14 dc, 15 dc in 8 ch-sp*, rep from * to * twice more, sl st in next dc, fasten off. Darn in loose ends.

TO CROCHET FRAME 4
Make a slipknot and work 110 dc around frame 4, sl st in 1st dc.

1st rnd *6 ch, miss 8 dc, sl st in next dc* all around frame, ending 1st rnd with sl st in base of 1st 6 ch.
2nd rnd *[sl st, 1 ch, 1 dc, 1 htr, 5 tr, 1 htr, 1 dc, sl st] in next 6 ch-sp*, rep from * to * all around frame, ending 2nd rnd with sl st in 1st ch of 2nd rnd. Fasten off. Darn in loose ends.

TO CROCHET FRAME 5
Make a slipknot and work 80 dc around frame 5, sl st in 1st dc, 1 ch, dc in same sp.

1st rnd *miss next dc, dc in next dc*, rep from * to * all around frame, ending with sl st in 1st dc of 1st rnd.
2nd rnd *5 ch, miss 1 dc, sl st in next dc*, rep from * to * all around frame, ending with sl st in 1st ch of 2nd rnd.
3^rd rnd sl st in next 2 ch,* 7 ch, sl st in next 5 ch-sp*, rep from * to * all around frame, ending with sl st in 1st ch of 3rd rnd. Fasten off. Darn in loose ends.

TO MAKE
For frames 1 and 3 Cut out a 1cm- wide cardboard frame to fit. Apply glue to front of cardboard, pin the crocheted piece to the frame, leave to dry and remove the pins.
For frames 1-5 Trim pictures to fit frames, glue picture to back of frame and leave to dry. Attach to the wall with double-sided tape.
