You will need
• 4 x 50g balls Elle Stretch DK in Grey Denim (shade no. 050)
• 3mm and 4mm crochet hooks
Before you start
You will need two measurements from the person you’re making the leg warmers for: the circumference of the calf and the length of the leg. Make a length of chain to fit around the calf and then work a tension sample in double crochet and check that it fits the calf comfortably.
You need two sizes of crochet hooks to shape the leg warmer. Crochet the first few rows with the smaller hook (3mm) then switch to the bigger hook (4mm) for the rest of the piece.
